Lewis Sweet Shop

The Lewis Sweet Shop is more than a place to get malts and shakes; it is a historic landmark dating back to 1951. Owner, Mr. Dwayne Lewis, started selling ice cream, candies, popcorn and handmade burgers after opening Lewis Dairy King in 1960. After the store was bought in 2005, the new owners kept all of the recipes and traditions the same. They are making this unique eatery a piece of living history. They have everything from chocolate-covered bacon, brisket, candies and white chocolate-deviled eggs.

Idaho Springs and surrounding towns are filled with history and a wide selection of delicious eats. These sweet treats will give you a headrush of sugary fun, and they will have you coming back for more! Check out our website for more things to do in the Idaho Springs area.
